About the Hotel & Spa Le Mottaret
You won’t need long to see why Le Mottaret in Meribel is part of our collection. Whether it’s the warm, welcoming staff or fantastic facilities, this hotel has plenty of perks. And getting out on the slopes each morning couldn’t be simpler – it’s set right on a green run, with the main Mottaret lifts just a short glide away.
The hotel has classic French charm inside and out – think wooden balconies, chunky stone walls, and a cosy lounge complete with an open fireplace. It’s also full of thoughtful details, like board games built into the tables and plenty of squashy sofas perfect for curling up with a good book. After-ski drinks? The bar is the place to be, especially when the sun’s out and the terrace buzzes with energy.
As for the food, it’s all about hearty, satisfying dishes. Mornings start strong with a breakfast spread that includes freshly made crêpes and waffles. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a daily-changing buffet featuring everything from soups and salads to trays of cheesy tartiflette.

About Meribel (Mottaret)

Perched at the top of the valley, Meribel (Mottaret) is one of the most conveniently connected resorts in the Three Valleys – it’s no surprise it’s such a popular choice. The village is surrounded by scenic, tree-lined slopes that are ideal for beginners, and its compact layout makes getting around a breeze. Families in particular love it here, thanks to the fun zones and excellent ski school. Lessons kick off in Méribel, and the meeting point is just a short ski away via a gentle green run or a quick 10-minute ride on the free ski bus.
Après-ski is low-key but lively, with a handful of bars offering drinks and live music right by the slopes, plus a nightclub for those who want to keep the evening going. For a more high-energy scene, the iconic Folie Douce is just one lift ride away. And if you’re looking for activities beyond skiing, hop on the bus to Méribel to dive into the Olympic Park’s swimming pool, take a spin on the ice rink, or unwind with a session at the hotel spa.
